Rob Peets joins Open Ocean Robotics after 10 years as a VC and over 25 years investing in and advising early stage, public and private technology companies.
Prior to OOR, Rob was a Partner at TELUS Ventures where he led over 50 transactions and deployed more than $150M in capital across a wide range of technologies and company stages. He has also been a board representative on over 20 venture-backed companies. Other former roles have included Corporate Finance at PwC and as a technology-focused equity research analyst.
Rob has an MBA from the University of Western Ontario’s Richard Ivey School of Business and a Bachelor of Economics from Simon Fraser University. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a member of the CFA Society of Vancouver .
