Barbara is a Human Resources Professional who has seen first-hand how an engaged workforce can transform and propel organizations forward to achieving their goals. Having over 25 years of experience in Human Resources, she is an employee champion, working with leadership teams to develop HR strategies to support employees while ensuring the goals of the business are met. Applying innovative solutions, which can in turn transform people, strategy and technology is her forte. Being a pioneer in automating HR processes, allowed her to focus on strategic initiatives and away from administrivia of HR. Having a passion and commitment for seeing people and organization evolve and grow, drive her.
Barbara’s experience with global organizations, in various industries supported by her Degree in Business from Ryerson University as well as Adult Education from University of Toronto rounds out her credentials.
Having traveled extensively including many times to the Great Barrier reef, and a residence in Florida, she has seen the impact we are having on our oceans and coast lines. Having a place at Open Ocean Robotics, allows her to support employees while supporting a cause dear to her.
