Angie Pinto

Angie is from Bangalore, India and moved to Vancouver to pursue her undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at UBC.  She has always enjoyed spending time outdoors with hobbies that include swimming, hiking and scuba diving. In her design team at UBC, she helped with designing and building an autonomous underwater vehicle. Her experience with my design team and my curiosity to learn more about the ocean brought her to Open Ocean Robotics. At Open Ocean Robotics, she will be working with field operations to plan for USV deployments, pilot USVs, and support the collection of oceanographic data and its analysis.
