Offshore Wind Challenge Final Showcase
Wednesday, February 24, 5:00-6:15 p.m. ET
The burgeoning offshore wind industry holds huge opportunities — the generation potential off the United States’ East Coast alone could power the entire country — but developers need to safely build around the movements and needs of marine life, which requires detection, data, monitoring, and real-time decisions. That’s where Open Ocean Robotics and the Offshore Wind Challenge — in partnership with Vineyard Wind and supported by the Massachusetts Clean Energy Center — come in.
On Wednesday, February 24, join us to virtually celebrate the culmination of the Offshore Wind Challenge — a corporate partnerships accelerator program that has supported three innovative startups focused on advancing marine mammal monitoring, specifically via offshore data collection, transmission, and analysis. Attendees will hear the Offshore Wind Challenge participants speak about their technologies, what they have learned and accomplished over the past six months, and where they are headed next.
